Meet the Candidates

Toronto mayoral candidate Rocco Rossi discusses the restaurant industry with CRFA President and CEO Garth Whyte. Rossi met with members of the CRFA team in mid-July to gain a better understanding of the importance of Toronto’s restaurant industry to the community and the economy. Meetings with other election candidates are planned for later this month. More photos.

Sodium Update

On Jul. 29, Health Canada’s Sodium Working Group released a national strategy to reduce sodium intake. As an active member of this group, CRFA supports the Working Group’s recommendations and will soon release a detailed guide to sodium reduction for foodservice operators.
