TORONTO – Michael Aronovici, Chairman of the Board for the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association (CRFA) announced today that the association has engaged the recruitment firm of Korn/Ferry International to undertake the search for the association’s next President.
“Korn/Ferry is recognized as a world leader in executive recruitment,” said Aronovici. “CRFA’s Succession Planning Committee reviewed proposals from a number of recruitment firms and we were particularly impressed by Korn/Ferry’s rigorous approach to the task and the fact that Jeffrey Rosin, Korn/Ferry’s Canadian President, will assume primary responsibility for the assignment.”
The CRFA Chairman emphasized that Korn/Ferry will be casting a wide net in its search for a new President and that applications from internal candidates will be welcome.
“We’re looking for a leader who will be able to capitalize on the tangible value that outgoing President Doug Needham has contributed to the association,” said Aronovici. Needham announced his resignation in late October after 26 years with CRFA and will be leaving the organization at the end of June, 2009.
Enquiries and applications with respect to the CEO position should be directed to Jeffrey Rosin, President, Canada, Korn/Ferry International, jeffrey.rosin@kornferry.com, 416-365-1841.
