TORONTO The 2009 CRFA Show returns to Toronto this weekend, March 8-10, bringing with it everything restaurateurs and hospitality operators need to survive and thrive in a challenging economy.

WHAT: with more than 675 exhibitors, it’s Canada’s largest hospitality trade show

a stellar line-up of Canada’s top chefs and food personalities – including Mark McEwan, Alex Rolland, Melissa Craig and Bob Blumer – will lead live demonstrations each day

16 industry-specific workshops focusing on profitability, business growth,    marketing, customer service, labour solutions and more, all delivered by industry experts 

Cooking with the Stars, an interactive culinary competition in which four of Ontario’s top chefs will be paired with audience members to prepare a meal from “black box” ingredients

an "Eat Local" pavilion, where visitors can learn more about the variety and quality of food and beverage products available from small and medium-sized Ontario producers

the Toronto Culinary Salon, a plated competition showcasing the skills and artistry of both novices and professional chefs, judged by members of Culinary Team Canada

Bar chef demos with the “King of Cocktails” Dale DeGroff and the award-winning mixologists from BartenderOne
