TORONTO – The annual SAXibition (Super Accommodation eXhibition) trade show of the Ontario Accommodation Association (OAA) is breaking new ground for 2012 by partnering with the CRFA Show, Canada's largest hospitality event. Inside the 2012 CRFA Show, held March 4-6 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto, industry delegates will find the SAXibition Marketplace, a distinctive "show-within-a-show.”
From mattresses and soap to lighting and laundry equipment, the SAXibition Marketplace will showcase dozens of products and services specific to the needs of innkeepers of all sizes and types of property.
"This is a first for both the OAA and the CRFA," said OAA President Bruce Gravel. "SAXibition's presence will attract hundreds of innkeepers to the CRFA Show, to see products and services important to their businesses. This partnership is a perfect fit, as many innkeepers also have foodservice, and the three-day CRFA Show is Canada's premier foodservice show."
“We’re very pleased to welcome the OAA to the 2012 CRFA Show,” said CRFA President and CEO Garth Whyte. “In addition to shopping for new products and services, this is a great opportunity for delegates to network with their colleagues across the hospitality industry.”
Founded in 1949, the non-profit Ontario Accommodation Association is Canada's largest provincial association specializing in innkeepers. Its members are small- to medium-sized inns, motels, hotels, resorts, B & Bs and lodges located across Ontario, most often family owned and operated. SAXibition, a registered trademark of OAA, is owned and managed by OAA.
With over 1,200 exhibit booths and ongoing chef demos, seminars and events, the CRFA Show offers restaurant and hospitality owners, managers, chefs and executives a variety of fresh ideas to help promote, grow and manage their business.
Registration is open now at www.crfashow.ca and those who register before Jan. 16 are entered into a draw to win a professional espresso machine worth $1,500.
The CRFA Show is owned and operated by the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association, one of the country’s leading business associations with more than 30,000 members. CRFA also owns and operates the BC Foodservice Expo (www.bcfoodexpo.ca) and is the title sponsor of the ApEx show in Halifax (www.apextradeshow.ca) and the Alberta Foodservice Expo (www.albertafoodserviceexpo.ca). Proceeds from the shows are directed to CRFA’s advocacy, research and member services in support of a growing and prosperous Canadian restaurant industry.
