TORONTO –  As one of the country’s largest employers, Canada’s restaurant industry will be watching tomorrow’s budget for measures that help restaurateurs to grow their businesses, create more jobs and promote Canadian agri-food products.

Garth Whyte, President and CEO of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association (CRFA), will be available for comment on Parliament Hill tomorrow.

Canada’s $63-billion restaurant industry is the fourth-largest private-sector employer with more than one million direct jobs, and is the number one source of first jobs.
