|Raising restaurant issues in Ontario
CRFA’s Stephanie Jones discussed Ontario’s restaurant industry concerns with PC Leader Tim Hudak.
CRFA is working with all parties as they prepare their campaign platforms the election. CRFA has also leveraged the Liberal leadership race to raise the restaurant industry’s profile with the candidates.
|CRFA meets with Ottawa Mayor
Ottawa’s Mayor Jim Watson met with CRFA on Aug. 22, 2012, to discuss the size, scope and economic contributions of the city’s restaurant industry, and key issues. CRFA President Garth Whyte, Chair Donna Dooher and VP Ontario and Sustainability Stephanie Jones (pictured left to right here) also screened the “I am a Restaurant” video. Mayor Watson will welcome CRFA Board Members to Ottawa this fall. As host city to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario meetings and Canada’s national capital, Ottawa is a critical partner for CRFA at all levels of government.
