(Aug. 15, 2007) For foodservice operators in Ontario, the Oct. 10 election is an ideal opportunity to meet with local candidates and discuss issues that impact your business – and the rest of Ontario’s $21-billion foodservice industry. There is no better time to approach a future MPP with your concerns than when they are seeking election.
In the coming weeks, CRFA will be posting more information about the industry’s top issues, which include municipal tax powers, beverage alcohol, GST/PST harmonization, the environment and minimum wage. Information on how to meet and follow up with local candidates, as well as information on individual party policies will also be posted. Check back often for updates!
