Award recognizes outgoing CRFA president

(Jun. 15/09) In recognition of 27 years of outstanding service by its outgoing president, CRFA has established the Douglas Needham Award for Emerging Talent in Wine Making, to be presented annually at the Chef’s House at George Brown College.  An avid oenophile, Doug has visited many vineyards throughout Canada and internationally, and this award will recognize his personal interest while offering encouragement to a worthy student.

The award was announced at recent CRFA board meetings and will stand as a reminder of Doug’s many years of hard work in service to the industry and the association.  The first award will be presented in 2010.
