(May 19/11) Earlier this month, CRFA met with several key players in the Saskatchewan government: Minister of Environment Dustin Duncan; Minister Responsible for the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) Tim McMillan; and Minister of Labour Relations Don Morgan.
Discussions were productive and covered a wide range of member issues such as beverage alcohol pricing and licensing, indexation of minimum wage, minimum wage rates and flextime, and the future of Saskatchewan’s extended producer responsibility program.
It is expected the most significant legislative and regulatory changes will take place after the Nov. 5 provincial election.
