Participating in B.C.’s employment standards review

(Feb. 18/11) As Chair of the Coalition of BC Businesses, CRFA’s Mark von Schellwitz and his team met with Deputy Minister Rob Lapper and other officials to discuss the Coalition’s Employment Standards Review submission.

We prefaced the meeting by stating we believed no minimum wage adjustments were necessary or advisable – however, any adjustments made should follow our recommendations. The Coalition also made recommendations to ensure employment standards regulations better reflect modern workplace realities.
