(Oct. 31/12) CRFA is working closely with government to simplify the liquor regulatory process for operators in New Brunswick.
Earlier this summer, the province announced a review to overhaul its Liquor Control Act and make it more business-friendly. CRFA spoke to licensees to learn more about the barriers and red tape they face. We also met with department officials to better understand the process and areas where we could support changes the regulators would like to see.
Following these discussions, we have put together recommendations for changes to the Liquor Control Act. Click here (PDF) to read our submission.
Officials have committed to review our recommendations before legislation is drafted and possibly introduced next spring.
