Quebec’s $11.5-billion foodservice industry is a major contributor to the provincial economy, and has the potential to create even more jobs, more investment and more dining destinations. Some of these – like sluggish tourism and mounting labour shortages – are not unique to Quebec, but government must do more to limit the rising cost of doing business in the province. We must work together to ensure the viability and growth of this valuable industry.
