Passport to Safety
A national, certificate-oriented program developed by the Safe Communities Foundation of Canada, aimed at providing workplace safety training to employees under 24 years of age.  Courses are available in French and English, and cost $9.00 each.  The course descriptions page also lists health and safety courses offered by other not-for-profit agencies, such as St. John’s Ambulance and NORCAT.  http://www.passporttosafety.com/

Food Service Workers Safety Guide  5th Edition 
Designed for employees and supervisors in restaurants, catering establishments, hotels and fast food chains, this guide outlines the safe use of kitchen equipment including a new action-oriented section on "Cleaning and Sanitizing Kitchens". The guide also covers housekeeping safety tips and lifting procedures and includes customizable forms and references to additional information on the internet.
