Re: Alberta Show Postponed
Dear Exhibitors:
Due to deteriorating economic conditions and the host of challenges facing foodservice operators in the current climate, the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association (CRFA) has decided to postpone the 2009 Alberta Foodservice Show until September of 2010.
The market uncertainty has forced a thorough evaluation of the show and the association has concluded that deferring it until 2010 would be in the best interest of our exhibitors, CRFA members, and show visitors.
Over the next several months CRFA will be undertaking a needs analysis of Alberta industry suppliers and also conducting research into opportunities to serve restaurant operators in the province. The results from these studies will form the basis for a revitalized event.
We appreciate the support you have provided to the show and we’ll be refunding any payment made towards the 2009 show in full. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact either Bruce Guerin (866.751.3833) or me.
Yours truly,
Steve Barber
